Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning is fully integrated with Oracle Manufacturing (Oracle’s discrete manufacturing solution) and with Oracle Process Manufacturing. You can plan distribution and manufacturing operations enterprise for hybrid environments. Oracle Advanced Supply Chain planning includes full support for byproducts, coproducts, lot expirations, and formula effectivities.

The integration between Oracle ASCP and Process Manufacturing (OPM) provides process manufacturers with an integrated solution to plan, optimize, and execute across the supply chain by analyzing material and resource capacity constraints across the entire supply chain in a single plan.
The ASCP planning engine currently supports the major process features critical in process industries:
• Coproducts and by-products
• Multiple formula effectivities
• Scaling
Single level circular references to support recycled material

The integration will be bi-directional, with reference data being sent from OPM and other Oracle Applications to the APS planning engine, and APS sending planning actions and recommendations back to OPM. Data collection can be run as-needed or scheduled to run periodically.
