Pick release getting back ordered

Hi All,

We are implementing R12 for a big client. We are trying out pick release transaction on a process inventory org. But its getting back ordered when we launch Pick release even though we have enough quantity and have also made a reservation.

Any help on this front would be great.

Check to see if grade matching is on and if a grade is on the sales order line.
Check that the Lot status of your inventory may prevent release.

Remove the reservation and try it, possiblly something wrong with the reservation.

check for the pending transactions for the item in that warehouse.Also check whether lot is expired or not .

plz check whether the inventory period is open or not..the period should be open

Are you working with India Localiation?

if so please also check Subinventory Location information setup is completed under India localization.
