Dear All

Can you please guide me as to which planning module we can implement using R12 OPM. Do we have to use ASCP or we can use OPM MRP. Our requirements are not very complex.

Note : we are implementing R12 OPM in a steel plant.

Thanks in advance,

Zohaib Khan

Hi,

You have to use ASCP with OPM in R12 OPM.You can use either Unconstrained or Constrained based ASCP as per your requirement.

OPM MRP was 11i OPM feature.

Hi,
For OPM R12, you have to use following applications:-

Process Manufacturing Product Development,
Process Manufacturing Process Execution,
Process Manufacturing Process Planning,
Process Manufacturing Financials,
Advanced Supply Chain Planning

And all other applications like payble, inventory etc. are similar to discrete manufacturing.

So, you have to choose as per your requirement.
