Production Completion

In Discrete manufacturing, once the job is completed physically, the following transactions have to be done in system.

1.Move transaction – to capture resource cost.
2.Completion Transaction – The finished goods stock update in system (FG Item Cost = Raw Material cost + Resource Cost + Over head).

Could any explain the equivalent transaction (Functionality) in OPM with navigation, screen shots etc.,

Hi Manisekaran

In which version of OPM are you? Is it 11 or R12? In OPM batches, first you need to release the batch to WIP from pending status and also release the steps to WIP and then click the ingredients tab and do the consumption entries either by picklot ( in 11i) or transact materials ( R12) similarly make the yield entry of products. Take quality samples, if required and enter the resources usage, if required. Then complete and close the batch.
