Subinventories and Warehouse

I have heard that the concept of warehouse is going away in R12. Is it going to be replaced by subinventories?

Does anyone have details about this?

the diff for 11i and R12
-------------------------------------------
OPM Inventory and Oracle Inventory-R12
-------------------------------------------
- Warehouse now converged as Inventory Org/Sub Inventory
- OPM Locations now converged as Stock Locators

As said above there are no WH in R12 and Sub inventory/Inv Org can be treated as Equivalent of WH
