We have situation where the product output from one batch is an ingredient to the next batch. We have multiple iterations of batches like this.

We are trying to figure out how we can automatically transfer the product from one batch as ingredient to the next.

Anyone has a similar issue?

Have u got any solution for this. My client also got multiple level of batch creation to get the finished goods. But here we r using Phantom Items to get mutiple batch creation automatically.

Thanks

Hi

You can use the Phantom Batch, a feature provided in Formulator.

When a production batch is created form a Recipe that is based on a Formula containing Phantoms, each of the ingredients set up as an automatic phantome is exploded to generate a Batch that PRODUCES THE INGREDIENT. This is a Phantom batch. These individual components could also result in generating additional Phantom batches.

Note: Items set up as Manual Phanotms are not exploded automatically. Phantom items are exploded to create a batch that supplies the Parent Batches with ingredients.

Phantoms are tracked in inventory only by the ingredients they consume and Phantom provide a convenient method to embed manufacturing items rather than individual Raw materials into formula.

If any doubts still....u can update this.
